![]() Command the mighty German war machine and lead their forces to victory from spring through to the harsh winter of 1942. Take part in a series of scenarios, challenges and battles based upon this operation. Case Blue achieved spectacular early gains, but met with strong resistance around Stalingrad. The goal of this operation was to capture the oil-rich lands of the Caucasus region. Would be a waste of money. After the long winter of 1941, the German Wehrmacht launched a massive summer offensive in June of 1942 codenamed “Case Blue”. Most people that tell you that just don't know how to play. Definitly do NOT buy them on the thought that some might be overpowered. You'll know wether you really want one or not, when you play for a while. You might get a commander dropped by warspoils anyways. They can freshen up the experience a bit, give you different units to play with and allow for new strategies and playstyles (some influence that a lot, other only a bit).īest stay clear from that and use the basic ones. A few add some nice options you might want to consider. Nothing there feels too great or challenging compared to playing against real people.Īs for Commanders. I don't consider this game much fun in single player, so neither the Theatre of War packages, nor Ardennes Assault seem to be worth it imo. It gives you a good all-round view of the game and improves your play, by looking at problems from two sides. For multiplayer you should get all the aviable armies (pick them up on sale or third party in a bundle).
